Solid colors are 100% Airlume combed and ring-spun cotton
Heather colors are 52% combed and ring-spun cotton, 48% polyester
Athletic and Black Heather are 90% combed and ring-spun cotton, 10% polyester
Ash color is 99% combed and ring-spun cotton, 1% polyester
While Fauxback Co. may not have the full capabilities of a large clothing brand, I'm committed to providing excellent designs and quality products. I use a direct-to-garment (DTG) printing process. Each product is made especially for you as soon as you place an order, which is why it takes a bit longer to deliver it to you. Making products on demand instead of in bulk helps reduce overproduction, so thank you for making thoughtful purchasing decisions! Each shirt is meant to have a slightly worn-in, vintage look.
Items where stock has become temporarily scarce or that must be remade due to inadequate quality check may take longer. Unfortunately I cannot guarantee delivery dates and cannot cancel orders once they have started production.
Don't worry! It will go away after the first wash.
When unpacking a new shirt or hoodie with a direct-to-garment (DTG) print, you might notice a vinegar-like smell or an off-white residue. That’s not unusual - it’s from a fixation agent applied during the printing process, and it’s not permanent.
Fixation agent (sometimes known as pre-treatment) is used for all DTG prints across the industry. It helps the ink bond with the fabric, and without it, the ink would flake off the garment.
The solution is simply to wash the garment! Neither the residue nor the smell is permanent, and both should go away after one wash.
All inks used for printing are Oeko-Tek™ certified and safe.
Many of our products are made-to-order, so please allow around 2-5 business days for orders to be processed. Orders may be sent out separately as production times vary. 97.66% of our orders are shipped within 5 business days. More than 50% of our orders are shipped within 3 business days or fewer.
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, we'll create a separate order to send you the new item.
