Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, nicknamed Imola, is the home of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, as well as the home circuit for the Scuderia Ferrari racing team. Opening in 1953, it was initially used for motorcycle racing, and is one of the few circuits to run in a counter-clockwise direction.
The legendary track that once replaced Monza as the home of the Italian Grand Prix is home to some of the most famous corners in racing, including Tamburello, Piratella, Rivazza, and Acque Minerali, which the entrance to is depicted on the shirt.
The circuit is very narrow and very fast, and while the track is popular among F1 fans, it’s also the site of the tragic deaths of Roland Ratzenberger and Ayrton Senna, who were killed in crashes on consecutive days in 1994.
The circuit’s 18 corners have been quite a test for drivers over the years, and it’s setting in the beautiful Italian countryside has been the backdrop for many memorable races, which is why it will always hold a special place in the hearts of Ferrari fans and racing fans alike.
